Zero Down Payment Car in Dubai: Read This Before You Sign

A real zero down payment car in Dubai is rare. Most offers using those words move the cost into a higher monthly payment, or ask you for insurance, registration and fees separately on signing day. At Gleeven there is a payment at the start. We buy the car you pick from our list, and you pay a part of the car price at the start. That payment is what buys the car, and there is nothing else on top of it.

What "zero down payment" usually means in Dubai

When you see the phrase on a poster or a listing, it is normally one of three things.

So the honest answer to the search is this. Money has to move at some point. What matters is where it moves, how much it is in total, and whether you end up owning the car.

How the Gleeven plan works

Gleeven is rent-to-own. You pick a car from the list on our website. We buy that car. You pay a part of the car price at the start, then a fixed monthly payment for 24 or 36 months, depending on the car.

The starting payment is different for every car, so it is not printed here. It sits next to each car on the site with the current monthly payment and the current term. Prices and stock change as cars move, so the site is the only place to read them.

There is no deposit on top of that starting payment. There is no hidden fee. There is no balloon payment and no final lump sum. The last monthly payment is the last payment you make, and then the car is transferred to you. During the term the car is registered to the owning company, and it transfers to you at the end, exactly as written in your contract.

You sign with Carborn Car Rental L.L.C, Dubai trade licence 1144437. The cars on the site are our own stock.

What you need to bring

No bank is involved. There is no salary certificate and no salary transfer condition, and the credit bureau (AECB) is not checked.

This is why the plan works for people on a trade licence, people paid in cash or without a salary transfer, and people who arrived in the country recently. We still review each application. We do not approve everyone, and nobody should promise you that they do.

What is inside the monthly payment

On most plans, insurance and the agreed servicing schedule are inside the monthly payment. That means one number leaves your account each month instead of three or four.

Fines and Salik are paid by the driver. They are yours, not ours.

Check the car you want on the site, because the plan details are set per car.

Rent-to-own, bank loan, or plain rental

Here is a plain comparison so you can see where you fit.

Read the middle column next to the first one carefully. If you have a stable salary, a salary transfer and a clean credit record, a bank loan is usually the cheaper way to buy a car over the full term. We will say that to your face too. Rent-to-own exists for the people the bank says no to, or for people who do not want a bank loan on their record.

When this is the wrong choice for you

Be clear about these points before you spend time on it.

If you want to see the car in person, the showroom is at Midtown Central, Majan, Shop 28, Dubai. Open every day from 10am to 8pm.

Questions people ask

Is there any true zero down payment car in Dubai? +
Almost never for buying. Leases and rentals can start with little or nothing, but you give the car back at the end. When the plan ends with the car belonging to you, money is paid at the start, either to us or to a bank.
How much is the starting payment at Gleeven? +
It is different for every car, so it is not quoted in this article. Open gleeven.com and you will see each car with its starting payment, its monthly payment and its term of 24 or 36 months. Stock and prices change as cars move.
Do you check my credit record? +
No. The credit bureau (AECB) is not checked and no bank is involved. We ask for your Emirates ID or passport with a valid UAE visa, a UAE driving licence, and a security cheque. Each application is still reviewed, and approval is not automatic.
Is there a large payment at the end of the term? +
No. There is no balloon payment and no final lump sum. Your last monthly payment is the last payment, then the car is transferred to you as written in the contract.
Can I drive for Uber or Careem with this car? +
No. The car carries private plates. Ride-hailing work in Dubai needs commercial plates arranged through a limousine company.
