No down payment car plans in Dubai, and what they cost
A plan with nothing at the start exists in Dubai, and it is not free. You pay for it every month. Here is the difference in real numbers, and what we do.
What "no down payment" means in Dubai
On a normal car loan in the UAE the bank asks for 20 percent of the price of the car before anything moves, plus a salary certificate and a credit bureau check. Some rent-to-own companies advertise nothing at the start. That is real, and you pay for it in the monthly figure: the company carries the whole price of the car, so the monthly payment is higher and the term is usually longer.
What we do, in plain numbers
We buy the exact car you choose. You pay a part of the price at the start, from AED 8,400 depending on the car, and that is what buys it. In return your monthly payment is lower than it would be with nothing at the start, by roughly 7 to 26 percent on the cars below. There is no deposit on top, no joining fee and no administration charge.
We say this plainly because you will see "zero down payment" advertised elsewhere. Compare the monthly figure and the number of months, not the word on the banner.
Why no bank is involved either way
The car stays registered to the company that owns it until the plan is finished. That is the security. No bank, no credit bureau check, no salary certificate. At the end of the term the car transfers into your name.
What you actually need
- Emirates ID, or a passport with a valid UAE visa.
- A UAE driving licence.
- A security cheque.
- Proof that money comes in regularly. It does not have to be a salary transfer, and it does not have to go through a bank.
